Don Chamberlain and Suzanne (Ruhland) Chamberlain celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Monday, Sept. 21.

They were united in marriage on Sept. 21, 1965, at Glen Dale United Methodist Church by the Rev. Kenneth Ball.

Don Chamberlain is retired from Conoco/Venco.

Suzanne Chamberlain is retired from in-home day care and A-Step-Ahead Day Care, where she taught in the after-school program and 3-year-old preschool.

They are active at Calvary Methodist Church, in Boy Scout Troop 78 and Cub Scout Pack 78, and American Legion Post 3.

The family includes Jeff Chamberlain of Moundsville; Kevin (Mary) Chamberlain of Moundsville and Shawntel (Neil) Westphal of LaPorte, Ind. They have four grandchildren.

They will mark the occasion with a dinner with family and friends.
