David and Marcia Ann Laughlin of Wheeling will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Friday, Oct. 30.

They were united in marriage on Oct. 30, 1965, at St. Ladislaus Church in Wheeling.

David Laughlin is a retired teacher from Linsly Military Institute, Brooke County Schools and Boggs Run Elementary School.

The former Marcia Ann Piko is a retired legal secretary who worked for Ohio County Schools.

They have one daughter, Debra, who resides in Wheeling.

They have enjoyed family, friends, travel and attending local sporting events together through the years. They have been active in community organizations and have given back to former students and the community over the years.

They are celebrating today, Oct. 25, with family and friends at the Jaycee Chapter House in Elm Grove, Wheeling.
