Mr. and Mrs. Tex E. Reynolds of Moundsville will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Thursday, Dec. 3.

They were united in marriage on Dec. 3, 1965, at St. Francis Xavier Church in Moundsville, with the Rev. Thomas Sparks officiating.

Tex Reynolds is the son of the late Donald and Bessie Reynolds. He is a U.S. Navy veteran and retired from PPG Industries, Natrium plant.

Theresa Reynolds is the daughter of the late James B. Gardill and Agnes Gardill. She was a homemaker and worked several part-time jobs. She took classes at several area colleges, including West Liberty, West Virginia Northern and Franciscan.

Both have volunteered for many years at St. Francis Xavier.

They are the parents of three children: Leah (Karen), Don (Bobbie) and Mary West. Four grandsons complete the family.

A renewal of vows at Mass followed by a small family reception will commemorate the occasion.
