Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Miller Jr. of Mount Olivet celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Thursday, Jan. 21.

They were united in marriage on Jan. 21, 1966, by the Rev. Freet of the United Presbyterian Church in Wheeling.

Lutha “Susie” Miller is the daughter of the late Lutha and William Hall of Wheeling.

LeRoy Miller is the son of the late Leah and LeRoy Miller of Scenery Hill, Pa. He is a retired mechanic with 27 years at Wheeling Truck Center and five years at Hill International Truck.

The couple has three children. The family includes David Gullette and his wife, Shirley, of Claysville, Pa.; Debbie Chmiel and her husband, Ed, of Lexington, S.C.; and LeRoy “Chip” Miller III at home. They have four grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

The couple celebrated at home with family.
