Joe and Sue Ripoly of Wheeling will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Friday, Jan. 22.

They were united in marriage on Jan. 22, 1966, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, North Wheeling, with the Rev. Raymond J. Judge officiating.

Sue Ripoly is the former Susan Mahoney of North Wheeling. She retired as office manager of Pro-Pak Containers Inc., where she worked for 33 years.

Joe Ripoly is a retired trust officer from J.P. Morgan Chase after 31 years. He served as senior vice president of the Wheeling Area Chamber of Commerce for 11 years and currently works as the regional vice president of sales and marketing with Right at Home in-home care agency.

They have one daughter, Kimberly (Duane), and three grandchildren.

A summer celebration is planned.
