Conaways Mark 60th
Edwin and Elizabeth Conaway celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Thursday, Feb. 18.
They were united in marriage on Feb. 18, 1956, at Short Creek United Methodist Church in Wheeling.
Elizabeth Conaway is the daughter of the late Luther and Minnie Leatherman. She was employed at Stone & Thomas.
Edwin Conaway is the son of the late Jesse and Katherine Conaway. He is retired from TCI Cable Co.
They have three children. The family includes Karen Beard and her husband, Dennis, of Louisville, Ky.; Bruce Conaway and his wife, Missy, of Ohio; and Joyce Conaway of Wheeling. They have four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
