Homer and Linda Denney of St. Clairsville and Fort Myers, Fla., will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Friday, March 18.

They were united in marriage on March 18, 1966, at the Church of Christ in Wheeling, with Ted Norton officiating.

Linda Denney is the daughter of the late Harold and Dorothy Harmon of Bridgeport. A homemaker, she is a graduate of Bridgeport High School and Ohio University and taught at Westbrook Elementary School.

Homer Denney is the son of the late Homer and Edith Denney of Elm Grove, Wheeling. He is a graduate of Triadelphia High School and California State University at Northridge. He is a retired certified public accountant and was a railroad engineer for Conrail.

They have two sons, Tom and Jim, both of St. Clairsville.

The couple celebrated with a rail trip across Canada.
