Lenzs Celebrate 65th
Barbara D. and George E. Lenz Sr. of St. Clairsville will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary on Thursday, March 10.
They were united in marriage March 10, 1951, at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Martins Ferry, where they lived most of their married life and raised three sons.
George Lenz is the son of the late Roy and Helen Lenz. He is retired from CCC Highway in Benwood.
Barbara Lenz is the daughter of the late Joseph and Agnes Besece. She is a homemaker.
They have four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A family celebration in Berkeley Springs will take place this summer, hosted by their son and son-in-law, George Lenz and Michael Lujano, and three nieces.
