Bob and Leilani McHenry of Carlisle, Ky., formerly of Moundsville, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday, March 5.

They were united in marriage in Verdun, France, by Chaplain David Lee.

Bob McHenry is the son of the late Lou and Elizabeth McHenry. He is retired from the Kroger Co. and most recently from the Ohio and Marshall County Sheriff’s offices as a security guard.

Leilani McHenry is the daughter of the late Paul Golden and Charlotte Clarke. She worked at Value City, the Dollar Zone and Emblem’s parking lot.

They are the parents of Louana (the late Darryl) Plunkett of Corinth, Ky.; Robert (Helen) McHenry of Moundsville; and Christina (Donald) McIlvain of Cut Bank, Mont.

They have 18 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren with a 10th on the way.
