Murphys Celebrate 60th
Wynn “Pat” and Nancy Murphy of Moundsville celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Thursday, March 24.
They were united in marriage on March 24, 1956, at the Church of the Bretheren, Cumberland, Md., by the Rev. Arthur Scrogum.
Nancy Murphy is retired from the Moundsville library.
Pat Murphy is retired from the Wetzel-Tyler Health Department.
They are the parents of three daughters: Wynne of Huntington Beach, Calif., Dawn of Pittsburgh and Joy, deceased; and three sons: Shawn, deceased, Brian and Bill of Moundsville. They have 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
A family celebration is planned on April 2.
