Schlags Mark 70 Years
Charles and Audrey Schlag of West Chester, Pa., formerly of Wheeling, celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary on Friday, April 22.
They were united in marriage on April 22, 1946, in the Catholic chapel at Alameda Naval Air Base in Alameda, Calif.
Charles Schlag is the son of Raymond and Eva Schlag. He is a World War II veteran and is retired from the U.S. Naval Air Force Reserves and Bell of Pennsylvania (Verizon).
Audrey Schlag is the daughter of Eugene and Elizabeth Zener.
They are the parents of seven children, 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
A family celebration took place at the couple’s home.
