Couple Celebrates 40th
Roger and Jenny Matz of Wheeling celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary on June 12.
They were united in marriage on June 12, 1976, at Vance Memorial Presbyterian Church in Wheeling.
Jenny Matz is the daughter of the late Andrew and June Niehaus of Wheeling.
Roger Matz is the son of the late Ralph and Dorothy Matz of Chillicothe.
The couple has three children: Laura (Patrick) Barry of Pittsburgh; Greg (Danielle) Matz of Pittsburgh; and Katie (Jake) Coffield of Wheeling. They have one granddaughter.
The family will celebrate with a trip to Topsail Island, N.C., where the couple spent their honeymoon.
