Cyril and Patricia (Pyle) Moncman celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on June 16.

They were united in marriage on June 16, 1951, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in          Wellsburg.

The West Virginia natives met while attending Elliott’s Business School in Wheeling.

The couple has spent many years traveling, bowling, being avid Mountaineer football fans, spending time with family and friends, and playing the slot machines.

Cy Moncman retired with more than 30 years of service in administration at St. John Hospital in Steubenville.

Pat Moncman worked as a homemaker and a volunteer at St. John School and as a Girl Scout leader.

They are the parents of Paul of Chester, Va.; Jeff and wife, Jenny, of Parkersburg; Greg, deceased; Mark and wife, Sandra, of Houston, Texas; Kevin of Monongahela, Pa.; Patrice Wray of Healdsburg, Calif.; and Brian, deceased. They have five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

They will celebrate with their family during a weekend stay at Oglebay Park in Wheeling.
