Robertses Celebrate 40th
Tom and Marilyn Roberts of Wheeling are celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary today. They were united in marriage on Nov. 27, 1976, at First United Presbyterian Church, Chapline Street, Wheeling, with the Rev. David Birch officiating. Marilyn Roberts is the daughter of the late Walter and Myrtle Mae Socha of Martins Ferry. Tom Roberts is the son of Helen Roberts and the late Thomas J. Roberts of Wheeling. They are the parents of Lauren (Eric) Thornton of Fairfax, Va., and Mark (Rickilyn) Roberts of Glen Easton. They have two grandchildren. They celebrated with a surprise family weekend getaway to a cabin in Deep Creek, Md.
