Robert and Jacqueline Jaeger Yuncke of Mount Olivet will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary on March 1.

They were united in marriage on March 1, 1952, at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in South Wheeling by the Rev. Ernest Noll.

Robert Yuncke served in the Korean War and retired from Wheeling Steel after 43 years of service.

Jacqueline Yuncke retired from Northwood Health Systems and Bishop Donahue High School.

They have been members of Mount Olivet United Methodist Church for more than 50 years.

The couple has four sons: David (Karen) of Triadelphia; and Thomas (Kathy), James and Mark (Jolie), all of Mount Olivet. They have four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A private celebration will be held with their family.
