Donald R. and Rose A. Henry of Steubenville are celebrating their 51st wedding anniversary today.

They were united in marriage June 11, 1966, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Wellsburg with the late Rev. John Ryan officiating.

Rose Henry is the daughter of the late Helen and Frank Lish of Bethany Pike. She is a 1961 graduate of Bethany High School and is retired from Sears in Steubenville.

Donald Henry is the son of the late Pearl and Reed Henry. He is a 1958 graduate of Wellsburg High School and a 1963 graduate of Marshall Unvirsity. He is retired from Brooke County Schools as a teacher and coach for Wellsburg Middle School. He also was Brooke High’s girls basketball coach for two years before retiring.

They are the parents of Angela (John) Snyder of Charleston, W.Va. Two grandsons complete the family.

They will celebrate with a family vacation to Hilton Head, S.C., in August.
