Przelenski’s Celebrate 60 Years

John and Barbara (McCoid) Przelenski celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Thursday.

The couple was united in marriage on June 8, 1957, by the Rev. Ted Grondalski at St. Ladislaus Catholic Church in South Wheeling.

Serving as best man was Dennis Shipic, and maid of honor was Rosie DeClemente Lesnick.

John Przelenski is the son of the late Henry and Sophia (Maduna) Przelenski of Wheeling. He graduated from McKinley Vocational High School in 1953. He retired in 1999 from his own business, West Virginia Bakery Supplies.

Barbara Przelenski is the daughter of the late Roy and Alberta McCoid of Wheeling. She is a 1957 graduate of Wheeling High School and retired from Gwynn Advertising in 2014.

They are the parents of five children. The family includes Terri A. Phillips of Bethlehem, John Przelenski Jr. of Wheeling, Bart Przelenski of Port Orange, Fla., Becky and her husband, Randy Forney, of Bethlehem and Christine and her husband, Jim Rudol, of Loveland, Ohio.

They have five grandchildren.

The Przelenskis will celebrate the occasion with a family dinner when all of their children return to Wheeling in August.
