Couple Marks 50 Years
Joe and Mary Thomas of Wheeling are celebrating 50 years of marriage.
They were united in marriage on Sept. 18, 1971, at St. Joan of Arc Church with the Rev. Victor Seidel officiating the ceremony.
Joe is the son of the late Tom (Butch) and Virginia (Vee) Thomas.
Mary is the daughter of the late Chuck and Alberta Edwards.
They are the parents of two sons, Jay (Cherie) of Charlottesville, Va., and Jeff of Columbus.
They have triplet grandchildren: Ashton, Brianna and Cameron of Charlottesville, Va.
They plan to celebrate with a family dinner.
