Edward L. “Skip” and Sharon (nee Schramm) Beaver of Wheeling are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary at 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 12, 2022, at the Mozart Fire Hall at 25 S. Frazier Ave. in Wheeling.

Skip and Sharon were married on March 11, 1972, at the Salvation Army Church on Eoff Street in South Wheeling.

Sharon is the daughter of the late Kenneth and Betty (nee Dunlap) Schramm of Bellaire.

Skip is the son of the late Edward J. and Gertrude (nee Noland) Beaver of Wheeling.

The Beavers have one son, Jeremiah (Courtney) Beaver of Wheeling and two granddaughters, Skylar (18) and Trinity (16) Beaver, both of Wheeling.

Sharon is retired from the Ohio Valley Medical Center cafeteria, and Skip is retired from the West Virginia Department of Transportation — Division of Highways sign shop in Moundsville.
