Congratulations to Edward and Mary Kay Evanko of Woodsdale.

On June 23, 1962, Ed and Mary Kay were united in marriage at St. Michaels Church in Wheeling.

Edward is a graduate of Wellsburg High School and worked until retirement as a retail manager for Reichart and Heilig Meyers Furniture stores and as a sales associate at Sears.

Mary Kay is a graduate of Triadelphia High School and worked until retirement as an elementary school teacher’s aide for Ohio County Schools.

The happy couple celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with their sons, Ed Jr. (Kelly) and Eric, daughter Elaine (Doug Howe), grandchildren Ed III (Karli), Brittany (Brian Ingledue), Abbey, Derek, Dylan, and great-grandchildren Aleia, Eddie IV, Brooklyn, Deon, Bentley and Arianna.
