John and Judy Bungard of Dallas, W.Va., will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Wednesday, Oct. 26.

They were united in marriage on Oct. 26, 1972 at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church in Wheeling with the late Msgr. Daniel Kirwin officiating.

Judith Bungard is the daughter of the late Charles and Delores Allen of Wheeling. She is retired from Subway in Wheeling.

John Bungard is the son of the late John Bungard Sr. of Triadelphia and the late Mary Ann Baker of Alliance, Ohio. He is retired from West Virginia-Ohio Motor Sales Inc. (Wheeling Mac) in Wheeling.

The family includes a son, Chris, and his wife, Becki, of Warwood; and a daughter, April Jones, and her husband, Matthew, of Wheeling.

The couple has four grandchildren: Abbey, Reagan, Andrew and Brett Jones.

They will be honored at a dinner hosted by their children after getting their marriage blessed at St. Vincent Catholic Church.
