John and Carol Saseen, longtime residents of Wheeling, celebrated their 60th (diamond) wedding anniversary on Thursday, Nov. 10.

They were married Nov. 10, 1962 in Wheeling.

Carol is the daughter of the late James and Delma Schank of Elm Grove.

John is the son of the late John and Vera Saseen of Wheeling.

John graduated from Central Catholic High School and retired from Sugardale-Superior Foods.

Carol graduated from Triadelphia High School and is retired from Oglebay Good Zoo.

They are thankful for many blessings throughout their lives together as parents, grandparents and great-grandparents.

In honor of their wedding day, celebrated with daughter Christine Saseen Shipley and her husband, Matt, and family and friends.
