Richards Celebrate Golden
George and Linda Richards of Wheeling are celebrating their 50th anniversary on May 5, 2023.
They were united in marriage May 5, 1973 at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, Mt. Olivet, with The Rev. Robert E. Lee officiating the ceremony.
Linda Richards is the daughter of the late John and Carolyn Wydra Moses.
She is retired from Wheeling Island Casino.
George Richards is the son of the late Harry and Grace Haynes Richards. He is retired from Consolidated Coal, Shoemaker Mine, Benwood.
They are the parents of two children: Jennifer of Wheeling and Brian and his wife, Jennifer, of Walkersville, Md. They have five grandchildren.
A family celebration will be held at a later date.
