Thomas Daryl and Betty Jo Cline of Wheeling celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Friday, May 12, 2023.

They were united in marriage May 12, 1973 at the former Warwood Evangelical Lutheran Church in Wheeling by the Rev. Maurice M. Smeal.

Betty Jo is the daughter of the late Harvey Houston and Betty Elenora Mundt of Warwood.

She retired after 46 years as a secretary/bookkeeper from Contractors Supply Corp. of WV, Inc.

Thomas Daryl is the son of the late Thomas Perry and Frances Earlene Cline of Windsor Heights, W.Va.

He is retired from the city of Wheeling/Ohio County 911 department.

He also is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force with The 320th Bomb Wing-Strategic Air Command.

They are both alumni of Warwood High School and members of Warwood United Methodist Church.

They are the parents of one son, Thomas Brian Cline, his wife Miwa and their twin sons, David Guillermo and Thomas Mateo Cline.

Their son and his wife are expecting their third child’s birth at the end of September.
