Mark and Marlene Wiley of Glen Dale are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on June 2.

They are celebrating by taking a vacation to Turks and Caicos with two other couples.

They were united in marriage June 2, 1973 at St. Jude Catholic Church, Glen Dale, with the late Rev. James Myles officiating.

Marlene is a retired registered nurse at the Marshall County Health Department.

Mark is a retired coal miner at the Bailey Mine, Consol Energy Inc.

They are the parents of three children. The family includes Bryan Wiley and his wife Tracy and their two sons, Izak and Reid, of Moundsville; Chad Wiley and his wife Nikki of Charleston, W.Va.; and their two sons, Derek and Marcus, and Monica (Wiley) Klamut and her husband Adam of Wheeling and their children, Kinley, Kazen and Peyton.

The family will get together at Hilton Head, S.C., in July.
