Cookes Celebrate Golden
Frank and Margie Roscoe Cooke of Avella, Pa., are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.
They were married on Sept. 8, 1973 at St. Lucy’s Parish in Yorkville, by the late Rev. Tulio Blasi.
Margie retired after 27 years with Wheeling University (Wheeling Jesuit), and Frank retired from Motorist and Erie Insurances Companies, where he worked as a claims adjuster.
They are the parents of two daughters: Nicole (Joe) Andlinger of Front Royal, Va., and Erin Cooke of Dublin, Ohio.
They have two grandchildren: Adam and Allison Andlinger.
They are planning a trip to Florida in the late fall.
