Couple Celebrates 65th
Jack and Freda Hammers of Wheeling celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on Aug. 20.
They were married 65 years ago at the First Christian Church in Wheeling, where Jack’s parents Billie Von and Paul were members.
Jack and Freda have three children: Jackie, Tim and Rick.
They have three grandchildren, Travis, Justin, Emily, Alex and Ben.
They celebrated their anniversary at their Florida home and donated to their Florida Lutheran Church for a specific cause.
They remembered their special day and all those that have enriched their lives together for 65 years.
