Timmons Mark Golden
Gary and Clarinda Timmons of Wheeling celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Sept. 1.
They were united in marriage on Sept. 1, 1973 at the First Presbyterian Church in Moundsville. Clarinda is the daughter of the late Harold R. and Clarinda Hodgman Barnhart of Moundsville.
Gary is the son of the late Howard Erskine and Mary Margaret Clouse Timmons. He is retired from Consol Coal Co.
They are the parents of four children. The family includes Michael and his wife, Tami, of Powhatan, Va.; Christopher and his wife, Jackie, of Charlotte, N.C.; Brandon of Wheeling; and the late Christine Ann.
They have seven grandchildren.
