Warwood Light-Up Night Set for Dec. 3

WHEELING — The Warwood neighborhood of Wheeling will officially welcome the Christmas season with the annual Warwood Lions Light-Up Night set for 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 3 at Garden Park.

This year marks the 10th annual Light-Up Warwood Night offered by the Lions.

The Christmas tree and lighted displays will be turned on to begin the holiday season. Musical entertainment will be provided by the choirs from Corpus Christi and Warwood schools. Jeff Tappe, better known as “Smoke Daddy,” will strum his guitar and sing a few Christmas carols.

Hot chocolate and cookies will be provided by the Lions club and several volunteers. Santa Claus will spend the evening taking Christmas present orders from the children and treating them to candy canes. Parents, family members and residents of the Warwood community are invited to join in on the festivities.
