Newcomers Meeting for Month of May Slated

WHEELING – This May Newcomer’s meeting will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 14, at Generations Restaurant, 338 National Road, Wheeling. This month’s program is the annual installation of officers and the theme is “Summertime.” We will also recognize current chairs of standing committees as well as officers. The program will be preceded by a fun game of trivia. Any woman new or returning to the area is welcome to join the group for the monthly luncheon. Anyone interested in attending can call Jan at 304–280–4270 by the Monday before the meeting.

Davis Is Special Guest at Lunch With Books

WHEELING – The Ohio County Public Library's next Lunch With Books program will feature author Allison Pitinii Davis.
