Update: Wreckage From Two-Mile Hill Crash Should Be Cleaned Up By Wednesday Evening

Ohio County Sheriff Nelson Croft estimated Wednesday morning that crews will likely have the wreckage from a tractor trailer crash on Two Mile-Hill, including 37,000 lbs of engine parts, cleared by Wednesday evening.
Officials say no one was seriously injured in the crash and the cause is still under investigation. The crash occurred at mile marker 8 near Triadelphia.
A tractor-trailer overturned early this morning on Interstate 70’s Two-Mile Hill, leading to a slowed commute for travelers heading east toward Pennsylvania.
Two of the three lanes are currently closed, with traffic moving at a snail’s pace past The Highlands. Emergency crews and Middle Creek Garage are working to clean up the area and remove the truck.
Traffic currently is backing up toward Elm Grove. U.S. 40 can be used as an alternate route.
