Carol Bruhn Stowers, 78, of Nettie, WV passed away on Monday, September 16, 2024 in the Genesis Center at Ansted, WV. Born February 18, 1946 at Wheeling, she was a daughter of Charles Cyril and Mary Eleanor Hoover Bruhn. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William Kenneth Stowers and her son, William Bruhn Stowers. She was a graduate of Warwood High School and a member of the first graduating class of the WVU School of Nursing, receiving a BSN degree. She was born on October 24, 1927 in Bellaire, OH, a daughter to the late Mary (Albright) and Clarence Dixon. Virginia worked as a Nurse’s Aide at the Shadyside Care Center. Phyllis June Harrington, passed away peacefully on September 30th, 2024 at Peterson Rehabilitation Hospital in Wheeling, W.V. She was born on February 20th, 1938 in Elizabeth, NJ to the late Harry and Loretta Ebert. As a child, Phyllis attended Webster School and later graduated from Wheeling H.S. She married Earl H.
