Thomas Michael Bever, 79, passed away on August 13, 2024, in his hometown of Wheeling with his family by his side. Tom was born on February 28, 1945, the son of Paul Edwin and Margaret Hannah (Moore) Bever. In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by numerous friends and colleagues. Tom leaves behind his wife Deborah “Debby” Ann (McPeek) Bever; sons Patrick (Colleen) Bever and Christopher Bever; grandchildren Carter and Cora; sisters Barbara Hostetter and Judy Heilmeier; sister-in-law Gerry (Russ) Lilley; several nieces and nephews; and lifelong friends too ...

James Richard “Ricky” Keefer, 36, formerly of Wheeling, WV, passed away in Comas, WA on Saturday, August 10, 2024 after a long, courageous battle with cancer. Surviving are his parents Ruth Merinar Keefer and James Keefer. Also surviving are his sisters: Melissa (Craig) Bommer, Lori Keefer, Kelly (Tim) Miller, several nieces and nephews, and special friend Emily Jane. Nancy Joann Fischer Orr, 92, of Wheeling, WV passed away on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at Wheeling Hospital. She was born April 23, 1932 in Wheeling to the late Carl & Anna (Dullion) Fischer. Joann devoted her life as a caregiver. She was generous with her time, volunteering at her church and the Ohio Valley Medical Center, but her first passion was family. As a young mom, she cared for her own aging mother, even while handling the full-time job of raising three boys.
