ELIZABETH “BETTY” VOELLINGER PURPURA

Our mother passed peacefully into eternal life on Saturday August 26, 2023, surrounded by her precious family. Betty was born in Wheeling on September 3, 1932, daughter of the late Edna Simon Coram and Charles T. Coram. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Brian Voellinger in 2017, her husband of 35 years, Harold Voellinger in 1986 and her husband of 25 years, Anthony “Tony” Purpura in 2015. Henry “Hank” Richard Shores, 86, of Wheeling, WV, passed away on Monday, August 28, 2023 at Wheeling Hospital. He was born September 26, 1936, in Wheeling, WV, son of the late Parker and Elsie Ewan Shores. Hank was a graduate of McKinley High School and was a retired employee at Wheeling Rubber Products.
