John Howard Kuntz, 93, of the Elm Grove area of Wheeling, WV, passed away Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at Shadyside Care Center, Shadyside, OH. He was born in Wheeling on February 19, 1932, a son of the late Leonard and Mary Virginia Paulus Kuntz. John was a devout member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and a proud U.S. Army Korean War Veteran. John found solace and fulfillment on his farmland. Ruth Elizabeth Ullum Monroe, 84, of Bethany, WV, passed away Sunday, January 25, 2026 at home. She was born November 14, 1941, in Dallas, WV, daughter of the late Everett and Margaret Taylor Ullum. Ruth retired from the housekeeping department at Wheeling Hospital.
