She was born December 6, 1927 in Wheeling to the late James Edward Jackson & Anna Elizabeth (Eimer) Jackson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Garth L Turner. He was born on November 7, 1925 in Akron Ohio to the late Opal and Paul Reeder Hefner. Tom grew up in Moundsville, West Virginia and graduated from Moundsville High School in 1943.
