Six Local Players To Play In OHSFCA North-South Game
MASSILLON – Half-a-dozen senior football players from Eastern Ohio will take part in the 81st annual Ohio High School Football Coaches Association’s North-South All-Star Game. The event will be played at historic Paul Brown Tiger Stadium on Saturday.
The Divisions I-III contest will start the day at 11 a.m., with the Divisions IV-VII starting approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first game.
Only one player – Steubenville’s 6-2, 265-pound Ephy Kelly – is listed on the official rosters for the DI-III game. He will play for the South before heading to West Liberty in the fall.
Five players, however, will suit up the South in the ‘Small School’ game.
They are the Barnesville tandem of 5-9, 210-pound Koby Jones and 6-foot, 180-pound Hines Ford, who are listed at running back and linebacker, respectively.
Harrison Central, Indian Creek and St. Clairsville also has a player listed.
The Huskies will be represented by 6-8, 330-pound offensive lineman Dylan Walters, while the Redskins’ 6-7, 330-pound offensive lineman Nishon White and Red Devils’ 6-4, 225-pound defensive lineman Colton Florence.
White will play collegiately at Robert Morris University, while Florence will play at the University of Dayton.
