Speaker to Discuss PTSD and the Civil War Soldier

WHEELING – On Wednesday, May 27, Jeanne Cox will be the guest speaker at the Ohio Valley Civil War Roundtable meeting. As a retired nurse practitioner, Cox’s interest in Civil War history and the medical treatment of Civil War soldiers began more than 20 years ago. The focus of her recent research is the physical and mental wounds suffered by Civil War veterans' battle experiences.
