Jerome “Jerry Rat” Staley, 80, of Chiselfinger Ridge, WV, was reunited with the love of his life, Carol Ann Staley, on January 3, 2024 after a courageous battle with cancer. Jerry enjoyed spending time outdoors, gardening, riding his motorcycle, visiting friends at his winter home in Florida and especially making memories with his family. Ernest R. “Ernie” Burky, age 67 years, a resident of Dry Fork, WV, passed away Saturday, January 30, 2023 in the Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. He was born August 3, 1956 at Buckhannon, WV a son of the late Herbert Erwin Burky and the late Hazel Booth Burky. On June 4, 1977 at Dry Fork, he was married to Joyce Ann Bonner who survives at Dry Fork.
