She was born March 19, 1932 in Pittsburgh, PA, daughter of the late Jack and Kathryn Devlin Groggett. Darlyn was a Catholic by faith, a teacher at Blessed Trinity in Wheeling and St. Francis Xavier in Moundsville, and a member of the Fort Henry Piece Makers Quilting Club. Robert “Bob” D. Edgell, 74, of Wheeling passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born February 5, 1949, son of the late Earl and Alice Gump Edgell. He retired as superintendent from Wheeling Country Club and was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in the Vietnam War.
