Jerry Montgomery, Jr. age 63 of Sherrard, passed away Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at home surrounded by his family. He was born November 22, 1959 in Wheeling, WV. Jerry was a retired iron worker with Local #549, Wheeling. He was a member of the Knights of Pythias, he collected coins and guns, loved animals and coached Little League baseball and football. Rena Smith Malson, age 93, passed away, Monday, July 24, 2023 at Wheeling Hospital. She was born April 15, 1930, in Wheeling, a daughter of the late Joseph and Laura (Bohlman) Carl. Rena was a longtime member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church and a graduate of Wheeling High School.
