Mary Jo Koontz, age 88, of New Martinsville, WV, passed away Friday, May 19, 2023, at her home. She was born December 21, 1934, in Jacksonburg, WV, the daughter of the late Francis Marion and Awilda Alice Hayes Lemasters. Mary Jo was a member of the Pine Street Church of Christ and was retired from the United States Post Office in New Martinsville, WV. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Ralph Koontz in 2021; two sisters, Marian King and Isobell Knisley; and two brothers, Edman Lemasters and Stanley Lemasters.
