Emily Ruth Wilson, 98, of Wheeling, passed away peacefully on Friday Sept. 4, 2026 at Liza’s Place in Wheeling. Born June 13, 1928 in Wheeling, Emily was the daughter of the late Edward and Jessie Simms Straub. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, mother-in-law, sister, and friend. Her family was the most important part of her life, and her love, memories, and traditions will carry on. She is survived by a brother Thomas (Jean) Straub. Paul David South, 44, of Triadelphia, WV, passed away at home on Friday, September 11, 2026, following a brief illness and diabetic complications. Paul was born on October 4, 1981, in Glen Dale, WV, the son of Venetta South (Robert Mosser) of Moundsville, WV, and the late David South. Paul graduated from John Marshall High School in 1999.
