William Edward “Bill” Gaus, 77, of Delaware, OH passed away Sunday evening, February 26, 2023 at Grady Memorial Hospital. He was born on June 6, 1945 in Wheeling, WV to the late Joseph Gaus and Ruth Taylor Robinson. After graduating high school, Bill proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Bill spent the majority of his career working in logistics, spanning various roles and companies. After retiring, he worked as a security officer. He was beloved and respected by his coworkers. David Leroy Bom, a U.S. Army Veteran, passed away in Heyward, CA on Feb. 13, 2023, at age 76. He was born in Wheeling, WV on Nov. 22, 1946 He was preceeded in death by his father Nelson Eugene Bom and mother Lillian Roxie Bom, along with 2 brothers and his sister. David is survived by his brother Robert Bom and his son Jeff Kurpil, in addition to several nieces and nephews and close friend Sandy Thomas. There will be no services.

Jeanetta M. Schwinn O’Leary, 97, a life long resident of Elm Grove, passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2023. She was born on February 14, 1926 in Wheeling, WV as the daughter of the late Charles W. & Lucile J. Bishop Schwinn; and granddaughter of the late Dr. Jacob & Margueretha Schwinn. She was a graduate of Triadelphia High School and the OVGH School of Registered Nursing where she also served as a member of the U.S. Cadet Nurse Corps.
