MORGANTOWN -- In a Class AAAA, Region One, Section One final, Morgantown scored the final 10 points in the final minute of the fourth quarter to erase a five point deficit and defeat visiting Wheeling Park, 55-50 on Friday night.

With the loss, Wheeling Park stays alive and will face Buckhannon-Upshur in the regional co-final.

It's Morgantown's third win against Wheeling Park this season -- all of which have come down to the final minute of action.

The opening stanza was a low-scoring affair with the Mohigans clinging to a 6-5 edge.

Things got rolling in the second as Wheeling Park caught fire and secured a 24-18 cushion heading into halftime.

However, the momentum shifted again in the third as Morgantown pulled ahead to grab a 42-38 advantage as the two teams looked ahead to the fourth and final frame.

That's when the Patriots were able to jump out in front and were looking to secure their second win over the Mohigans this year but Morgantown had other ideas as it rallied for an unbelieveable comeback to send the Patriots home stunned.
