Sobriety checkpoint scheduled in Marshall Co. The West Virginia State Police will be conducting a sobriety checkpoint in Marshall County on W.Va. 88 near the entrance to Sherrard Middle School. The checkpoint will be held Friday, Aug. 28, between the hours of 6 p.m. and midnight. This checkpoint will be conducted in an effort to deter impaired driving in this area during the announced time frame.
