Editor, News-Register: I just read the front page morning news regarding the overworked staff at the Marshall County Health Department. It brought tears of both sadness and anger at the echoing complaint by these “saints” who are trying to take care of us. I speak for them when I say, please, just follow the guidelines and wear a mask, sanitize your hands, keep at a distance, avoid indoor groups, etc. Contrary to what some believe, it is not our constitutional right to do otherwise. Harming Children as Policy

According to the American Civil Liberties Union 545 is how many children that have been separated from their families by U.S. border officials in 2017 and 2018 and that still haven’t made contact with their parents. Separating — ripping from their parents arms — a child (many under five) from their family are crimes of kidnapping and child abuse.
